Well done

Svetland is accused of murder and Kim has to figure out who really was behind it. Good plot with humor. Well done and good narration added to the story. Given audio for my voluntary review

The Best Yet!

Just loved it. The characters and story lines remain fresh and exciting, with twists and turns that add the perfect amount to keep you guessing.

Great read from a great author. Absolutely fantastic as usual I’m already buying the next one.

Beginning of a Great Series Read

I bought this audiobook without any knowledge of the "Claire Nicholls”. This is a prequel to that series so it worked great for me. After listening to this audiobook, I purchased the other audiobooks in the series.

Amazingly good

This series of audiobooks just seem to get better and better. I really enjoyed this one and can’t wait to listen to the next one. I would thoroughly recommend the whole series for holiday listening.

Good Mystery

Another good mystery and you enjoy Kim's journey as she tries to figure out who, if any, set up
her good friend Svetlana. And Svetlana is equally determined, to prove that she's been framed and has nothing to do with the whole situation. It had some humor, some action, shady characters and an interesting setting. the narrators narration was good and you enjoyed it a lot. So when you get a chance, check out the audio or the eBook and enjoy.

A frame-up!

This one breaks away from the cozy and gets into serious (if fairly illegal) investigation. It looks like Svetlana has been framed for the murder of the dead guy in her parlor, but the evidence appears sound and the legal system is angry because she says that she has no idea who he is or why. Kim (with some work friends) investigate and uncover who, how,and other crimes with the blind support of the lawyer and that particular Carabineri officer. Great sleuthing!
Claire Nicholls continues to be marvelous in narration!

Kim must save Svetlana & her Alpha Romeo!

This book was full of action! Svetlana is falsely accused of murdering an intruder in her home, and it is up to Kim to save the day.

Francesco - the handsome inspector from our last case - calls Kim in to help with the case, as he believes Svetlana is guilty and ought to just admit it. Svetlana denies knowing anything about the murdered man, and so it is up to Kim to help her friend get out of jail.

This book has Kim zipping around Italy in Svetlana’s Alfa Romeo, collecting clues and doing lots of investigating, digging up the Rival Robbers and exposing them in court. Amanda Knox could have used Kim at her defense!

This book is filled with plenty of passion as well, as Kim juggles her affair with Francesco and some surprise lovemaking with another character. Another fun romp as Kim hones her detective skills to that of a real pro!

K T Ashbourne does a great job amping up the tension by having one of Kim’s friends as a suspect, and makes the book fun as Kim zips around Italy in her imprisoned friend’s Alfa Romeo. Who wouldn’t enjoy that? Claire Nicholls’ lovely narration skills are, as always, a wonderful addition to the story!

Total Control

The story was excellent and it kept my attention right through. Every chapter I thought the Secret Service was going to crack the case, but the person to be questioned got killed and it seems as if it is a dead-end again.
I will definitely recommend the audiobook to my friends.
