Magickal?

This was the third and final part of Nora Roberts' fantasy trilogy, and as much as I enjoyed the complete story, this part was weaker than the other two. I know writing a trilogy sounds better than a duology, but I feel that with the elements given, the story could have gone deeper to fill all the pages. Also, a bit too much of the story was filled with magical chants, and they did get a bit repetetive. And, I think that a story about fighting for acceptance and diversity of all beings would have benefited of having at least one prominent character be LGBTQ+.

All that being said, the story did keep me entertained, and I'm still a fan of Roberts' writing.

So this book is performed very well but their chapters are off which caused some confusion if you were trying to read along or read along when you can

Better than expected

The story can be a little predictable, but I enjoyed it. I loved the Fallon and what she stood for and why. Nora didn't hesitate to kill favorites off, or talk about difficult subjects in war. I enjoyed this trilogy.

Great ending to an entertaining series

Nora Roberts doesn't disappoint. She transports the reader to a different world yet one still feels they know the place and time. A little predictable but I didn't mind, I received the ending I hoped for. If you haven't read the first two books in the series I highly suggest you begin with the first book. You will get the back story if you decide to skip them, but they are all good stories and worth the read, or in this case, the listen. Happy listening and I hope the light shines from within you.

Great ending to a trilogy

Another great trilogy by Nora Roberts. The voice performance was excellent. Highly recommend the series.
