Tim Gerard Reynolds’ performance is stellar

This book trilogy was a lot of fun. Stakes were low, puns high. Enjoyed this book but I enjoyed Tim’s narration the most, he makes it feel like a play with his versatility. I look forward to other books narrated by him.

Clever and Creative!!!

I am thoroughly enjoying the clever writing and imagination in this series! Some of the one liners are priceless…

The whole story was fantastic a bit quirky and over all a great read the audio quality dropped in the last book making it much less enjoyable but still a compelling story

Got back to the magic on this one

The first book of this series had something special about it. Told from the perspective of an innocent new-born teddy bear whos figuring out things on the go and experiencing life for the first time with all the good and bad that it entails. It was unique and touching, an all around enjoyable listen ( especially with TGR narrating). The 2nd book kina strayed from that illdefined magic the first one had and got a little too serious compared with the light hearted fun antics of the first.
However THIS installment got back to its roots in a way. The fact that threadbear and Celia are back together and the whole group of toys their with giving off a kind of family vibe brings some warmth back to the story. With the first book being what it was (fun teddy bear shenanigans), its only fair to the audience to stick with the theme and not switch it up half way through the series. So im glad he stuck the landing. Best part is miss fluffbear staying sweet and innocent the whole way through. I know threadbear had to grow as a character and get somewhat more serious and responsible because he had alot of people to take care of and a mission to complete which is why i think adding miss fluffbear into the mix to counteract the loss of his innocence (so to speak) was brilliant. So glad he kept her true to herself the whole way through. That clinched the 5 stars for me 👏

On the negative side of things, i havent been able to rationalize the reasoning for Celias birth father to let the deamon run the show like she was. They never really explained the reason he got her to possess his wifes body in the first place much less why he would give her so much freedom and power, especially if he was so paranoid. Most of that whole mess couldve been avoided pretty easily if that guy wasnt so stupid and untrusting which kina made it hard for me to suspend my disbelief that hard. It wasnt too big of an issue, just something that didnt quite fit right and kina bugged me..

From everything I've read... if I were you I would only read these first 3 books. Some people are just weak minded when it comes to politics. They aren't too political and then some dumb stuff happens and they just obsess over it. It infects everything they do like a creativity killing plague. These first 3 books are very good. But beyond... it's so disappointing. Fantasy is fantasy for a reason. Don't just name your bad guy "Thrump" and have 20 other ideological call backs to this horrible reality. I'm not right or left. Both of you people are all cult members straight up. After making the huge error of checking out an author I liked Twitter page I never did that again. Don't have to do that with book 4. He just changes the way characters normally are and just gets all hard core lefty. I'd be just as disappointed if he went off the right wing hinge as well. All low IQ stuff from a smart, funny, talented writer. It's really sad. I had so much hope for this series. Maybe in a couple of years when he realizes its all cult stuff he will go back to being normal. Really hate when great authors suck up propaganda and just let it ruin everything wonderful they made. Good story not so good narrator

The story was really good and cute but the narrators voice ruined some characters for me. He does a good voice over for threadbare, makes him sound thoughtful and intelligent.

One of the best lit-rpg’s I have listened to yet.

Very captivating story. Tim Gerald Reynolds is tied as one of my favorite narrators so I may be a bit biased. But he can really bring a story to life. Andrew Seiple is an excellent writer and I will definitely be listening to more of his works.

Loved every second of it

I loved it. Even the puns and play on words. Just makes it feel more original
