Stephen O'Malley is a paramedic who has been rescuing people all his life. But he's running now - from the burden of his profession, from the grief of losing his sister, and from a God he doesn't want to trust.

Excellent

This is the final book of the O'Malloy's series. I have listened to the entire series and I find this final installment to be one of the best. Dee Henderson continues to do a very good job mixing both christian undertones with both romance and mystery.

very good

I have all the O'Mally stories, and loved them all, but Stephens' story was my favorite. This is a very good series, well written, good plots and well thought out characters.I will be looking for more Dee Hendersen stories. Tom Stechschulte did a very fine job with the narration too. Thank you for bringing interesting fiction with the truth of Jesus in them.

Completion of the series...

Stephen O’Malley’s story brings up the end of the books. There are a few prequels and some mentions in other books.
The O’Malleys are such a wonderful family who have a pivotal moment and come to accept Jesus as their savior. Each book is built around Romantic Suspense with a Christian slant. However, don’t expect a cute fuzzy read. Evil is real and Ms. Henderson (while not going into gory detail) does show that evoke people will stop at nothing until they are stopped by good people, in this case The O’Malleys and first responders.
I have listened to these books at least once a year, I love them so much. If you haven’t read any of these books, start with ”The Negotiator“. It will introduce you to all of the O’Malleys.

My favorite of the O'malley series

Such a sweet story line and I love the strength of Megan and the strength coupled with vulnerability of Steven. Blackie is the best character though. :)

Great!

This book in the O'Malley series has the same wonderful characters, this time focusing on Stephen and Meghan. The story has warmth, mystery, excitement, romance, and a wonderful Christian message. The narration is very good.

Good read!

I I have truly enjoyed every book in this series! The author can certainly spin a tale. I love how realistic her stories come across. The ONLY criticism I would give is to the narrator, who is a fantastic narrator, though I would make the suggestion that you never change the voice of one of your long term characters! Why in the world did you switch Dave's voice from a nice warm American voice to a snooty almost British sounding butler's voice?? It just didn't play well. Down home Kate would never have given that guy the time of day! Oh well, live and learn!
