About Coach Mike Chadwick

Former paratrooper Coach Mike Chadwick revolutionised the British Armed Forces’ century-old approach to physical development delivering unprecedented pass rates for the Parachute Regiment’s Pegasus-Company selection course. A must-listen to!! Military or not, this will change your life.

Wow! You want an honest review, well here it is. The amount of knowledge and insight Mike Chadwick provides throughout this entire audiobook is just astounding. For a few years I have been listening and watching podcasts from professors and experts in psychology, human movement, biomechanics, exercise physiology and more. But nowhere have I found a place where all that knowledge can be accessed in one place. Someone who has both the knowledge as well as the experience to back that knowledge up is definitely Coach Mike. It’s a shame that the audiobook is only 12 hours because I could sit all day and pick Coach Mikes brain about a lot of topics.

So in essence, if you are looking to expand your knowledge as well as hear from industry leaders as to how to prepare the mind and body beyond the “old school” means of the past then this is the man to listen to.

A solid one, one for all coaches and athletes

I have a tactical athlete background and I approve!
I am a coach, former infantryman and drill sergeant. Enough about me. What this audiobook brings to the athletes and coaches is solid information. This is not another military mindset book but a book that reinforces the importance of fitness guidelines that one can apply to their daily life for optimal performance. The principles learned here may be familiar to many in combat fitness, MMA and contact sports but if not no worries you’ll soon be in the know. The interviews, intermissions, and additional content at the end makes this title more enjoyable if you love to hear about others’ personal stories.
Great overall would love to see another book in the future. Worthwhile and valuable.

Brilliant insight and lessons to be learnt.

Whether you are a "tactical athlete" or just trying to get in better shape, this book will help you achieve your goals. It's as informative as it is inspiring. I usually listen whilst at the gym or on a run, and it helps keep me motivated. I look forward to more.

Inspirational insights with cohesive information

I truly enjoyed this audiobook by Coach Mike Chadwick. It is hard to find a good audiobook on personal training that does not go off of biased information and merely anecdotal research. There is plenty of academically sourced material alongside interviews with talented athletes and professionals that have informative insights regarding health, fitness and training. Mr. Chadwick will discuss his personal career in the military, but this audiobook was designed for all listeners and not those who are interested in military stories/jargon. I think this is a must-listen for anyone interested in training their body or others!
