Ok story, but a Bit Boring
I listened to the audio version of this book. I would give it 2.5 stars. The story was blah and the narration sounded stilted and boring. I am not sure the narrator had much to work with in this book. There was no emotion to the narration. I had read this book some time ago and it was a DNF for me. I thought listening to the audio Book would be better.
I have loved the Westmoreland series, but I have also come to discover that it is the earlier books that evoke some feeling in me. I felt no connection between Adrian and Trinity. It seems so fake reading about the perfect (maybe 1 character flaw) Westmoreland man falling for the gorgeous, yet slightly insecure, hazel eyed woman, and reaching her from whatever situation she is in at the moment.
I wanted to enjoy this book as much as the earlier books, but I just didnt.
