Navy tales

Would you consider the audio edition of The Real Story of the USS Johnston DD-821 Part 2: As Told by the Officers and Sailors Who Served Aboard Her to be better than the print version?

Although I didn't read the print version, I imagine that, for me, the audio version would be preferable. I say this because having someone tell these stories makes him feel more real
