Great start to a new fantasy series, and listening to the audiobook was an absolute treat. I was swept away into the story of Elise and the 7 realms.
The world-building is top-tier—and was explained just enough to be intriguing without slowing down the plot.
Lupine Twist's narration is nothing short of masterful. Her performance brings each (of the many) character to life with distinct voices that are immediately recognizable. I especially loved her portrayal of the mystical characters. The pacing creates a palpable sense of tension and excitement, making the more action-heavy scenes truly thrilling to listen to. I couldn’t stop listening!
I highly recommend this audiobook to any fantasy fan looking for their next binge-listen. It has everything you could want: a vibrant world, memorable characters, and a gripping plot, all elevated by a superb narrative performance.
