The Private Club

What happens at the private club stays at the private club!

When Meg Riley lost her job as an attorney, she never thought she'd end up working for a private club. But when she met the handsome and elusive Greyson Twining, she knew she couldn't turn the job down, even though she didn't really know what the position entailed.

Greyson Twining is the owner of the private club, and he knows it's a mistake to hire Meg. However, there is something about the way she smiles at him that makes him forget his own reservations. And then there's the call from Brandon Hastings telling him not to hire Meg. A call he should have listened to more closely.

As Meg and Greyson embark on day one of training, neither of them realizes that there are secrets about to come out that will completely alter both of their lives.

The Private Club 2

Meg had no idea what she was getting herself into when she accepted a job at the private club. She also hadn't planned on meeting a man like Greyson Twining, a man whose handsome, devilish looks made her forget her principals and her mind.

When Meg realizes that there is a lot more going on at the private club than she had ever imagined, she decides to stick around to try to figure out exactly what's going on. Only she never imagined that the truth could be so deadly and worrying.

Eventually Meg finds herself stuck between her attraction to Greyson and the stark facts telling her that Greyson is a bad man. A very bad man. Meg has to decide what to believe, her heart or her brain, before it's too late.

The Private Club 3

What is the private club?

When Meg Riley accepted a job at the private club, she didn't expect to be thrown into a world of deception and lust. She doesn't know who she can trust.

Poorly written

It was like a teenager wrote an erotica mystery for a class assignment. While the story line is creative, I almost couldn't finish it due to the simple juvenile interactions. The note she found was never addressed. There are unfinished or unexplained events which make them simply confusing filler. Characters are not very complex or developed. The purported age / life experience is unrealistic with the lack of depth, maturity, intelligence or awareness. Some parts were so painfully dumb, I wonder if this was self published.

ARC review/audible

For honest review. This is a great story. It's a twist of a story trying to figure out what's going on. She going through ,the test, and if times things that are going on around them . She's thinking prostitution ,slavery, ect. What she finds out that's helping the girls.

Don’t judge this book by the cover

Liked this book it had some sexy scenes and a good mystery....but don’t look for anything that resembles a hot hunky man tied up in ropes-or anyone toe up in ropes! The word “dungeon” is used but the sex is plain vanilla without even hot fudge or sprinkles! Hot-but not edgy at all!

Umm... DNF

The writing was okay but I just couldn't suspend my disbelief to get into the story. I like weird stories if all kinds but I just couldn't get over the premise that a woman (let alone lots of women) would put themselves at risk in this way, especially with no emotional hook, and no specific incentive - financial or otherwise - other than a vague job offer, and when people are explicitly telling them that they are in danger. I stuck with it for hours, hoping I would get into it, but did not finish (DNF).

Some mysteries are solved, yet more remaining

I love a mystery/suspense within a romance. Grayson is a great alpha H and Meg is intelligent and curious beyond words. Together these characters in real life could have accomplished amazing things. must read After The Ex Games now so I know how it all ends.

A Complete Suprise

This is the first time I have heard this particular narrator, she was ok... she did a good Male voice... As for the story... Meg lost her job as a lawyer (could have been a bit more on that story as to what happened there...but that maybe just me who wanted to find out more). She got a Job at The Private Club under Grayson.... and has to undertake certain "tests" and a "hot heavy steamy connection" blossomed between the hothead "I am the devil who doesn't deserve love" Grayson and Meg... intertwined with this the story becomes mysteriously entertaining and I couldn't quite believe the ending.... I definitely didn't expect it but it does reveal that there will be more in this series as I need to know what happened....
