Publisher's summary

After having her sweet sixteenth birthday party ruined thanks to the birth of her newborn baby sister, Princess sees an old friend who's baby brother happened to also be born on the anniversary of his moms death. Frustrated, these two old friends decide to run away together, only to unexpectedly find themselves lost in a world that's not their own. After meeting some strange new friends, and making some even worse enemies, the two eventually find themselves forced into having to decide on whether to continue on the path that could lead home, or abandon that road for another path. A path sure to be drenched in blood. Loosely inspired by the timeless classic, the Wizard of Oz, The Princess and the Poor Boy will take your imagination for a ride to a magical land, far, far away.

An Updated Alice in Wonderland

I enjoyed listening to the reader. She did a good job distinguishing the characters and kept me hooked on the story.

The story was very imaginative.

A wizard of Oz for a new generation

Would you listen to The Princess and the Poor Boy again? Why?

yes..it was fun!

What other book might you compare The Princess and the Poor Boy to and why?

definitely the Wizard of Oz. A journey of self discovery, meeting strange new friends.

What about Claire White’s performance did you like?

her voicework with the various characters was VERY identifiable and very fun to listen to.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

The walking dead meets the Wizard of Oz! lol

Any additional comments?

had fun! can't wait to listen again.
