I'm excited to get started on this new lifestyle.

I've had a couple of people who have been working this for a while recommend it to me. after listening to the book it turns out that what Mark is saying is exactly what I've been saying for years. Our high simple carb diet in western culture is making us both fat and sick. I'm looking forward to getting started on this.

Very Informative and logical conclusions! I do think it would have been beneficial for him to go more in depth on why gluten/grains are not healthy and why you should choose organic.

AMAZING LIFE STYLE CHOICE

If you could sum up The Primal Blueprint in three words, what would they be?

Fun, Creative, Carb-less

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes and no. It was great information, but it is best to break it down, listen here and there and take in the info when you are in the mindset to learn. This is not an entertainment book, it is factual and has very good info.

Any additional comments?

Make your body a fat burning machine. Stop relying on carbs and sugar for energy! The teachings of this book were so much fun to implement in my life! I enjoyed playing with the idea of, a caveman couldn't eat this, or this is definitely something a caveman would have eaten. Take out the fact that they had no way of cooking meat, that is our advantage living in today's world. That being said, there were no ovens so bread, cake, baked goods are a no go. I lost 16 pounds, while still enjoying everything that I ate just by playing with the ideas in this book!! I ate less carbs, more veggies and meat, Generally there is a list of foods and things that are able to be eaten as a hunter gatherer. Nuts, fruits, veggies, meat, fish, etc. There are also the easy quick and tasty protein shake meal replacements too (again, modern age)! There is a health concern, however, with hormone injected meat and what not. Mark Sisson is definitely aware of these concerns and offers different sources to purchase your food from. Also with purchasing fruits and veggies to avoid chemicals and other bad things. There is a whole movement with the primal blue print and Mark's website is FULL of helpful information for anyone interested in pursuing this lifestyle! I am truly grateful for coming across this book and the information in it. A word of warning, this is definitely not for those who cannot live without breads, or baked things. I still enjoy them now and then, however, do not eat them as much as i did in the past. It has contributed to my success toward my target weight goal! 15 more pounds to go and I am at my target weight! Make your body a fat burning machine instead of a carb and sugar burning machine! You may just have as much fun with it as I did!

Short, concise, motivational
