Essential

The knowledge based information in this book is essential for anyone interested in radically changing his or her life experience into the ideal from the inside-out. I can personally testify to the validity of these claims as I have unconsciously applied them all throughout my life whenever there was no other option but to look within and decide who I was to assume to become.

It is well worth multiple reads and thorough experimentation.

Interesting but controversial

I listened to this book as the author was referred to several times by Wayne Dyer in his work entitled 'I can see clearly now'. Dyer's explanation of the power of awareness (or as he puts it - the power of intention) is much more accessible. The first few chapters of Goddard's book I found to be confusing and repetitive and had it not been for my previous reading of Dyer's book, I would have given up. The examples given in the last few chapters were interesting and although I think there is some merit in this type of thinking (believe/dream the impossible and it can happen) there was one example that I feel can potentially be quite damaging. This was of a man who was terminally ill and was taught how to think he was well by imagining himself to be in complete health. The man did make a miraculous recovery. I can't explain this, and I don't necessarily disbelieve it BUT for all those who do not get what they aspire for, Goddard suggests that it is because they don't desire it enough. Potentially controversial and damaging. I prefer Wayne Dyer's books on the same topic (manifest your destiny, wishes fulfilled, the power of intention - read those instead.
