What made the experience of listening to The Postcard the most enjoyable?
I'm a big fan of Beverly Lewis and her writings and recently decided to reread some of the older series. By reread I mean listen to while I'm at work. Ms. Caruso had a nice voice- however when there was a transition into the next chapter I felt like it was rushed and wonder if I'm missing part of the story-line. It seemed that she would be reading the end of the chapter and right in the middle announced the next chapter. I'm not sure if it's a performance issue or lack of editing because there was also an area where she seemed to have stumbled over her words. Hoping The Crossroads is better! What was one of the most memorable moments of The Postcard?
Hearing the story of Gabriel Esh. (Sp?)Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Barbara Caruso?
Beverly Lewis herself! Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
It took me 2 work days.Performance Review of the Postcard
