Story
David Icke has been writing books for decades warning that current events were coming. He has faced ridicule and abuse for saying that the end of human freedom was being planned, how, and by whom. The Trap is the "Rosetta Stone" of illusory reality and opens the door to freedom in its greatest sense. Listen to this book and the "world" will never look the same again. The veil of illusion shall be swept aside and the amazing truth this has kept from us shall set you free.

It demonstrates that these events, based on the activity of the mind, are caused by the person who perceives them.

The Work is simply four questions that, when applied to a specific problem, enable you to see what is troubling you in an entirely different light. As Katie says, "It's not the problem that causes our suffering; it's our thinking about the problem." Contrary to popular belief, trying to let go of a painful thought never works; instead, once we have done The Work, the thought lets go of us. At that point we can truly love what is, just as it is.

When we talk to ourselves, we often hope to tap into our inner coach but find our inner critic instead. When we’re facing a tough task, our inner coach can buoy us up: Focus - you can do this. But, just as often, our inner critic sinks us entirely: I’m going to fail. They’ll all laugh at me. What’s the use?

Publisher's summary
Enhance your mental health and empower your life with the power of coincidence.
Synchronicity is meaningful coincidence that connects our inner and outer worlds. This book reveals how it can guide us along our life path, helping us through challenging times and nudging us toward self-fulfilment.
Psychologist Chris Mackey writes from personal experience, not only as a practitioner but also as a patient who has suffered serious mental illness. Formerly a rationalist with little time for non-scientific approaches, his own experiences and those of his patients have convinced him that synchronicity has a key role to play in helping us to tap into our intuitive and spiritual selves and guiding us through life. This exciting new approach to synchronicity and the treatment of depression and other mental disorders will be of great interest to practitioners and patients alike, as well as to anyone interested in the opportunities offered by altered states of consciousness.
This audiobook includes:
- Carl Jung’s original description of synchronicity
- Real-life case studies
- Brain science
- Practical ways to work with synchronicity, including journalling, symbol analysis and dream interpretation

Story
Does religious experience come from God, or is it just the random firing of neurons in the brain? Drawing on brain research on Carmelite nuns that has attracted major media attention and provocative new research in near-death experiences, The Spiritual Brain proves that genuine, life-changing spiritual events can be documented. The authors make a convincing case for what many in science are loathe to consider: that it is God who creates our spiritual experiences, not the brain.

Story
In Reconnecting to the Source he unpacks the science behind spiritual experience, investigating the ways in which we can access realms of experience beyond the everyday. It is in these moments, when our conscious minds are in contact or perhaps even overridden by our unconscious selves, that we can explore the depths of spiritual meaning. In addition to a foreword by Deepak Chopra, the book includes new, never before published contributions from a long list of well-known writers and public figures.

In this original and groundbreaking book, Andrew Newberg, M.D., and Mark Robert Waldman turn their attention to the pinnacle of the human experience: enlightenment. Through his brain-scan studies on Brazilian psychic mediums, Sufi mystics, Buddhist meditators, Franciscan nuns, Pentecostals, and participants in secular spirituality rituals, Newberg has discovered the specific neurological mechanisms associated with the enlightenment experience - and how we might activate those circuits in our own brains.

Story
We're used to thinking about the self as an independent entity, something that we either have or are. In The Ego Tunnel, philosopher Thomas Metzinger claims otherwise: No such thing as a self exists. The conscious self is the content of a model created by our brain - an internal image, but one we cannot experience as an image. Everything we experience is "a virtual self in a virtual reality." But if the self is not "real," why and how did it evolve? How does the brain construct it?

What if imagination and art are not, as many of us might think, the frosting on life but the fountainhead of human experience? What if our logic and science derive from art forms rather than the other way around? In this trenchant volume, Rollo May helps all of us find those creative impulses that, once liberated, offer new possibilities for achievement. A renowned therapist and inspiring guide, Dr. May draws on his experience to show how we can break out of old patterns in our lives.

Story
Mr. A. was admitted to Dr. Joel Gold’s inpatient unit at Bellevue Hospital in 2002. He was, he said, being filmed constantly, and his life was being broadcast around the world "like The Truman Show" - the 1998 film depicting a man who is unknowingly living out his life as the star of a popular soap opera. Over the next few years, Gold saw a number of patients suffering from what he and his brother, Dr. Ian Gold, began calling the "Truman Show Delusion," launching them on a quest to understand the nature of this particular phenomenon and the nature of madness itself.

From the millions-strong audiences of Oprah and The Secret to the mass-media ministries of evangelical figures like Joel Osteen and T. D. Jakes, to the motivational bestsellers and New Age seminars to the twelve-step programs and support groups of the recovery movement and to the rise of positive psychology and stress-reduction therapies, this idea - to think positively - is metaphysics morphed into mass belief. This is the biography of that belief.

Superlative in Every Sense
The incidence of mental illness has gone up exponentially in the past 50 years. The author explains how it is less due to changing environment and more due to our acceptance of pessimist explanations provided by researchers funded by the drug industry that has no motivation to publicize the self-healing nature of brain chemistry. Additionally, nature provides healing in the form of synchronicity that one would recognize if one is open to receiving it. The optimism in this book is based on science. I would describe this book as being illuminating in that it describes transcendental and transpersonal experiences as being transformative, and refers to them as 'luminous experiences' that advance our evolution. Being a Muslim, I found that this book validates my belief that human beings are the best of God's creation and that we are architects of our own destiny. It is empowering and faith-affirming. I would love to know the author's opinion of 'Way of the Seekers,' english translation of the 1925 Urdu speech by Mirza Basheer-ud-Din Mahmood Ahmad (1889-1965), that speaks of the evolution of the soul along with the evolution of the body. And of 'My Mother,' by Sir Muhammad Zafrulla Khan, that outlines a life shaped by synchronistic experiences.
