Today, I talk about what is happening to us when we know the truth, but we continue to struggle in the same areas all the time. What is happening? Romans 12:2 says: "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will" (NIV). When Paul wrote this verse he knew we could go through life and have power over our sins because of Christ, but also because we have to discard the lie based thinking that we have all lived by for so long. We have to find that wrong pattern of thinking and replace it with the truth!

In this episode we talk about what the Bible has to say about sex. We take the entirety of Proverbs chapter 5 and break it down. Sex is a gift from God to be received by a husband and wife ONLY, any other sex is outside the bounds of God's gift. When we take of the gift out of bounds we then forfeit the intimacy we experience because now it is not ours alone, but someone else's. I talk about the victim versus victor mentality over the addiction over pornography. When we live in the victim mentality we will always be stuck because it is someone else's fault. However, when we take on the victor mentality we take responsibility for our actions and start doing something about it. When we are in the victor mentality we become stronger and more determined to do what we need to do and that of course is finding healing through Christ.
