Sweet story

Love the story. Just too too short. Love the narrators Sean Crisdon and Wesleigh Siobhan.

Deep storyline

This book is applicable to many people who must make a decision about health issues. I love that it shows the dynamic between friends when disagreements arise from decisions and the affect decisions can have on others. Both narrators did a wonderful job bringing each character to life.

Nice, just not my fav.

This was just okay for me. The story was nice, but I just felt like the character development was a bit rushed. It was like one minute the heroine just wanted to jump Luke’s bones, then all of a sudden they were saying the “L” word. I don’t know, it wasn’t this emotional roller coaster for me like other reviewers have described. I’ll keep it in my library though because I love CCJ.

What A Beautifully Written Story Of Life

This is a heartwarming story of life, love ,determination & survival....I love how Eva & Luke both we’re able to aid with pulling one another from their respective “sunken places”. Excellent Narration!

Having It All

Eva is everything! Yes she is!
I just love her and Luke together. Even her friendship with her ex was beautiful.

The narrators are freaking fantastic! And of course the author of this book is absolutely amazing!

Did not want it to end!

Great job CCJ, Wesleigh and Sean!! I'm hoping there will be more to this series as I would love to hear more about Sugar Valley and each of the characters.

didnt like this story

I really didnt like this story. The whole time she is fighting her diagnosis then all of a sudden she wants to live. Like after everything her friends were saying didnt mean anything till the last minute. Then she decide to do something she could have done a year ago.

Great Title For This Story!

I love life lessons of this nature, because it offers different and experienced but wise scenarios. Scenarios that will lead and help you make the best choice that will be beneficial now, later or in the near future. The characters were fun and on point especially Ben. This was a great read for me, Renee G.

What A Beautiful Story!!!

I thought I used up all my tears when I read the Serendipitous Love series. Oh, how wrong I was. Lawd, The Point of it All had me knee deep in feelins’ and crying buckets of tears. Why didn’t y’all tell me this book was so emotional?!!! I had to take several breaks, multiple times, while I listened to the book because the content was so heavy. Whew chile! I was NOT expecting a breast cancer storyline. While I admired Eva's self-assurance and strength when she was faced with everything she had to endure, I was also very upset with her for initially choosing not seek treatment. After watching her mama and aunt die of cancer after undergoing chemo, I understood her decision but, it still angered me. I didn’t understand why she refused to see why Luke, Justine, and Leon were so upset with for making that decision. I mean, come on! Who wants to sit idly by and watch their girlfriend, BFF, and ex-wife purposely die?!!! In the midst of her cancer diagnosis, Eva becomes smitten with Luke. Oh, I adored me some Luke! He was just amazing. He had such a caring and thoughtful character. And, he was the total opposite of Ben. Mama Georgia, Luke’s Grandmother, use to own the Honey Branch Winery and Vineyard Eva purchased. The winery becomes the catalyst to Eva and Luke getting together. When he finds out about her cancer diagnosis, they try to make things work under impossible and sometimes tense circumstances. Eva realizes her decision is really hurting the people she loves and she finally agrees to get treatment for her breast cancer. I don’t understand why CCJ would end this series with just two books. How on earth did Justine not get her own story?!!! She lost her husband while she was pregnant with Journey five years earlier and has been single ever since. Christine deserved a HEA! It just boggles my mind that she didn’t get her own story. Despite the heavy storyline and heavy emotions, The Point of it All was a phenomenal book that was beautifully written. CCJ managed to balance it with romance, humor, and pearl clutchin’ sex scenes. This book is why I am such a huge CCJ fan. Her ability to write amazing stories continues to blow my mind.
