Emily is the protagonist of our story; she's the one who gets caught up in a terrifying trip as she discovers the deep secrets of her family and their sinister alliance. Through an ancient Ouija board, she's mistakenly led into the spiritual world, where she accidentally awakens a restless spirit named George, who was a mysterious friend from her mother's past. Emily is forced to confront the unpleasant shadows cast on her family's past as a result, leading to a series of harrowing paranormal experiences and unexpected revelations.
Emily is caught in a curse that ceaselessly haunts her bloodline. This is evidenced by the frightening sounds emanating from the Ouija board, as well as the confining and haunted hallways of the house she has inherited. The secrets she uncovers challenge everything she believed about her family, her origins, and herself. With each new chapter, she gets one step closer to understanding the terrible mystery that sends shivers down her spine.
Emily must face the haunting to test the limits of her reality, as she's caught in a web of atonement and must confront the unknown. Will she succeed in freeing the trapped spirit and ending the tormenting curse, or will she too become a victim of the terrible prophecy foretold by the planchette?
