Publisher's summary

When the punk rock queen of Seattle, Na Na Evermore, does a broadcast highlighting the Pike Bakery. The mischievous and meddlesome sisters, Eve and Zoey, go about nudging her toward the geeky personal assistant assigned to Na Na, Karmin Hughes. Hilarity and romance ensue, and as usual all it takes is just a nudge from everyone's favorite redheads.

By serendipity or happenstance, it turns out that Na Na (Nala) and Karmin know each other, as they had attended school together. And for Nala, it is a frightening and exciting revelation, having someone who knew who she really was underneath the strong and confident armor of Na Na she wrapper herself in.

Maybe the quirky and adorable Karmin could finally coax Nala out into the light to shine like her alter ego.

The Pike series is set in the same world as Music of the Soul and London Harmony, and can be heard as a standalone book.

Deja Vu Again?

This is a good story, told well and the followers of this author will really like it; especially if they enjoyed Syncopated Rhythm since it's basically the same book. The followers of Erik Schubach's Music of the Soul series, and it's spin-offs know that original storylines aren't the reason we follow him. What the author delivers are love stories with characters we like and care about along with happy endings; high school classmates Nala and Carmen are easy to care about and hope on. This is another triumph from an author who specializes in this type of book and these types of characters.

Excellent Audio!

I loved this third book in the Pike series. Evermore is a great fun listen. NaNa Evermore is a great MC. Loved Karmin Hughes as the star struck personal assistant. Allyson Voller does an excellent. job with the narration.
