Publisher's Summary

Can a stolen parking space, a punch in the face, and a wild birthday party lead a couple to romantic bliss?

Beth and Jake meet and slug it out over a parking space. Little did the other know the two were attending the same birthday party. Sparks fly and hilarious disaster supervenes.

Jake is fascinated and intrigued by the petite power powerhouse he calls Lips. And Beth is … well, Beth holds tight to a secret. A very dark secret that prevents her from entertaining serious relationships. And much to her annoyance, the man she calls Dick doesn’t take no for an answer - nor does her body.

Will he persist? Her body tells him to continue, but her lips tell him otherwise. Fate has a way of bringing people together even when their least desirable characteristics are introduced first.

This is a spicy romantic comedy with lots of snarky dialogue, unhinged desire and some very steamy moments. The Parking Space is geared toward New Adult & College students. Content contains some very naughty words.

Critic Reviews

“Lips and Dick are some great characters. The author has nailed the comedy aspect in this story. It’s one of those steamy, hilariously delicious reads. I recommend this to anyone who needs a lightweight love story, that will make you laugh, and go "aaawww" and then laugh again.” (Shauna Marie, author)

The Parking Space

“I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher.”

The narrator did a good job. I found the book to be light and funny. It will make you laugh but say awe at the same time.
"lips" & "dick"...love it.
Beth & Jake - they make quiet the pair.
I have never read anything by Akayla Furrows before but look forward to reading/listening to more.
I would recommend you give this book a read! :)

If I could give this TEN stars I would

This is one of those laugh out loud stories that make you smile all the way through. Underneath the comedy is a tender blossoming love story with heart and depth surprising in a comedy novel. Penni's portrayal of the characters is spot on, fantastic. Best audio person I've ever heard! She is funny and gentle, sweet and snarky when needed and you can just picture Lena slipping and sliding in the vomit! OMG I had tears running down my face! Ok, I won't give any more away. Just give it a listen Its the best!

Funny as hell with an HEA

The narrator brought the words to life! Her comedic timing was perfect. I like the ending... but...some may think it appropriate (like me), while others may want more. But as I understood the main character's issues, I think the ending was sweet. Oh, don't get me wrong. There are a few hot scenes throughout the story, but the story itself was awesome and extremely funny. I can't tell you much more than that without spoiling it. I get the other reviews. But the ending is good, considering the main character. Also, I love the other characters, namely Jane. I hope this author writes her story. That story will be wild.

This author has can spin a tale with laughs, sweetness, hotness, and twists. Will be looking into her others books.

Saucy and Quriky

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

A story that follows Jake and Beth after Jake stole Beth’s car parking space. The story then continues to follow them as they keep bumping into one another.

THE GOOD STUFF
This story…well I couldn’t have thought it up myself, it was random and very quirky, to the points that the ongoings did make me chuckle at times.

Jake and Beth’s story was enjoyable to listen to. The arguments they would have was entertaining and the ‘Dick’ and ‘Lips’ nicknames were quite funny too.

NOT MY CUP OF TEA
At one point it did a couple of different characters POVS fo a chapter or two. We then went back and focused on the main characters. I’m not really sure it really needed other points of views.

OVERALL RATING
It was an entertaining story with relatable characters and some funny parts.
