To save a missing girl...

Dan Delgado is a private investigator. When it comes to finding cheating spouses, corporate thieves, or runaway teenagers, he’s unenthusiastic, and unmatched. As a former San Francisco detective, he misses more meaningful work, but he hasn’t had the heart for it since his wife’s death five years prior. That is, until a phone call from a distraught mother, an illegal immigrant who can’t go to the police, puts him on the hunt for a missing little girl.

By the time he reaches the mother’s small home, she’s missing, too. The circumstances are strange, but when a team of heavily armed mercenaries arrive, Delgado is convinced there is more going on than a simple kidnapping.

Joined by his wise-cracking elderly assistant, a gun-toting pastor, and a UFO enthusiast Uber driver, Delgado follows the clues west, to Colorado City, a town cleaved in two by the 37th parallel, also known as the UFO Highway. In a town infamous for fundamentalist Mormon cult activity, they uncover evidence of a massive child-trafficking ring whose ringleaders might not be human.

Delgado and crew are plunged into a dangerous world of corporate competition, UFO lore, and government cover-ups. While they hunt for answers, they’re pursued across the Southwest by high-tech mercs, brainwashed cults, and beings whose true identity has been concealed since 1947.

...he must risk the world.

UFOs and alien abductions remain some of the most hotly debated and mysterious subjects of the 21st century. In the decades since 1960, with reports of strange encounters on the rise, 13 million people have gone missing worldwide and never been found. The Others takes a fast-paced, unique, and moving look at the phenomenon that has fueled Jeremy Robinson’s imagination since several sightings, strange happenings, and visits with renowned UFO investigator and family friend Raymond Fowler.

Good story, but too much cussing!

I liked the story a lot with it's twisting plots that were not predictable. Great narrator and characters! Not so much profanity and it would be great for all ages.

Excellent Narrator

RC Bray is a genius. He could narrate the dictionary and I would buy it!

This was one of the weakest J Robinson novels..

...I've read to date! He had a great premise but the execution was severely lacking!

Excellent Book With A Different Take On Aliens

Jeremy Robinson continues to put out excellent stories. The variety of his topics shows an incredible imagination, and his word craft is engaging. He also puts forth both believable dialogue and earnest sounding narrative voice.
In this story he focuses on the alien phenomenon. He takes some well known beliefs and adds some lesser known details, such as the relevance of the 37th parallel. Then there is the very human element of a person enduring a deeply emotional personal tragedy that has hounded him for five years. The result is a book that can be appreciated by anyone who enjoys stories about overcoming loss and ufologists alike.
R.C. Bray is one of the biggest names in the audiobook industry because he does a great job of performing the stories he narrates. He shows his skill again with another outstanding performance.

No time to catch your breath

This book moves fast! It's broken up into 30 little chapters, but each chapter has it's own action scene or cliffhanger or thrill. There really is never a dull moment. As you may have guessed, this book is also all over the place: cults, aliens, shady government agencies, human trafficing, Doris the secretary. Maybe I'm not as young as I used to be, but I need a break every now and then before diving into the next "holy s#!t" that each chapter is going to deliver.

RC Bray, as always, is a master of the craft.

Edge of you seat, twists and turns. Fabulous

I do not usually write reviews, but this book was Amazing! Fast Paced, Great Characters you cared about. Sci_Fi at it's best. I was on the edge of my seat, unable to turn it off. A Roller-coaster ride from beginning to end. This book was unlike the usual Sci-fi books I listen too. The charterers have depth and substance, and so much humor. I never wanted it to end. it is not often when a book surprises me as much as this one did. It has been hard to find another with all the ingredients that made this book so entertaining. .The narration was wonderful as well. If you like mysteries, conspiracies, aliens,cover-up and some wonderful sarcasm and good laughs and creepy revelations. This book has it all, and then some. I miss these characters and their adventures. Spectacular through and through

Hoping this will become a series!

I LOVED this book - humor, excitement, and kept me listening until I finished the book! I need a couple of questions answered in follow up books, ie (spoiler alert) how is his son alive when his wife was only 18 weeks pregnant? Going to start the Chess series next.

New perspective

I’m a big fan of science fiction and love long series, this is a very good stand alone story. Characters are well developed and the pacing is very good. RC Bray does a fantastic job, as always, with the narration.
