Ten years is a long time to get over a relationship that never went anywhere. Too long. But a decade on, Holly Flynn can’t help but continually relive the memories of all she had with Adam Miller: the very good, the bad, and the very ugly – including the vows Adam made and the awful things Holly said to him in response.

When she receives an invitation to a reunion, Holly’s turmoil kicks up a notch and she finds herself torn between her desire to see Adam again and the fear of reopening old wounds. But when she meets a charming and enigmatic stranger, Holly discovers a third option: moving on.

As she tentatively starts rebuilding her life and her heart, Holly accepts the invite. This is doable, right? Seeing Adam should be no big deal now that there’s a new man in her life. It’ll be fine. As the big day nears, however, Holly finds herself torn once more. Does she want the seemingly perfect man in front of her? Or the imperfect man from her past who once seemed perfect for her?
