This is the ultimate!Even though it is the first in the series, it is extremely good.Keep on writing Mr.Erickson!

Good like the rest

I love John Erickson‘s books and l would love if you kept up the terrific work.

Im gonna buy the entire Hank series 😃

Like a good grandmother, I buy books for my grandchildren to enjoy when we are together in my car.

But there might be two problems listening to Hank the Cowdog: the children might not hear it over my laughter, and I might not hear it over theirs.

It is narrated brilliantly by the author and is the funniest story about a well-meaning but utterly hapless dog that I have ever had the pleasure to enjoy.

I might not have found this series had it not been for the deal on children's books this week.
I'll go broke buying the 70+ books in the series, but they will keep us laughing for a long time.

Great kids series!

I used to love renting these from Cracker Barrel as a kid. So glad Audible has them, and my kids get to enjoy them.

Enjoyable adventure story, but...

The narrator was fantastic, great voices for the various characters. The story was enjoyable. But the constant music in the background was so irritating and loud at times it was hard to hear and harder to *want* to listen. My kids loved it on our road trip, and that was a great plus. But if you make more of these as audio books, please please please nix 99% of the background music!
