Publisher's summary

Suggesting they pursue the Four Horsemen was a death sentence. And yet, a nagging piece of her brain told her to consider it....

Wren and Piper have escaped Provision and its leader, Doctor Judas Lake. Now, safe in the depths of the Lukachukai Mountains and under the protection of The Order, the sisters begrudgingly welcome the temporary respite. But their freedom tastes bitter, haunted by memories of the innocents left behind or taken hostage.

Life is dangerous for the Nephilim, descendants of the Divine Bloodline who have been bestowed with supernatural abilities. Hunted by an international government program obsessed with eradicating their existence, many are imprisoned in ADAM compounds for life. Torn between rescuing Gabby - a coveted, defenseless Nephilim who they had sworn to protect - or defeating Doctor Lake and pursuing the Four Horsemen of the apocalypse, Wren and Piper are forced to make hard choices with lethal consequences. Meanwhile, the former Smithsonian director, Katherine Dodge, has followed a very different path from the sisters. She has woven her way all over the world, only to find herself back on the doorstep of The Order. And her story is just beginning....

But the Four Horsemen and The Order are both a means to an end. With final destinations looming ever nearer, Nephilim across the globe will need to take a stand against evil, or suffer at the hands of Doctor Lake and Provision. This is the second book in the Divine Bloodline Trilogy.

Surprise ending

Good, but ends without much warning. There’s no ebb and flow; it’s all flow. I liked that the concept was already familiar. I’ll get he next in series when it’s available.

I'm so invested

Tyler does it again with a wonderful performance.
I can't wait to see how all the plot lines resolve in the 3rd book. The villain is someone I love to hate. I eagerly await for him to get his comeuppance.

Absolutely AMAZING story and narration!

Love this series so much! So vivid, and fantastic storyline, read or listen to this book! I can almost guarantee that no one shall be disappointed in such an amazing story. The narration was the best I have heard in awhile, very engaging, and the story itself left a feeling of butterflies in my stomach for the next installment! If you want a book to read or listen to on audible, this is definitely one that you should do!
