I've moved on with my life. I've started over in a new city, with a promising career ahead of me. I have the independence I've always wanted. Needed. I've even started dating again. Kind of. Sort of.

The point is, I'm happy.

Then why is it that when Rhett unexpectedly shows back up in my life, years later, does just the sight of him leave me breathless?

I have no idea why he's here, especially now. But I'll be damned if I let him back into my heart.

Contains mature themes.

I loved this story, the only thing I was disappointed in was not having the male narrator through the entire story. I felt it was misleading for the listener who expected the narration to be both male and female voices through the story. Otherwise, everything else was perfection!

Love the characters, worth the listen!

When BK 2 started with the MMC point of view I was glad and then poof nothing for the rest of the story. I was disappointed as I think for this book it should have included. Other thing I didn't like the FMC lack of trusting Rhett after all they had been through already and her making stupid decisions even after her friend had warned her as well, it became annoying. Overall nice story.

She is so childish and was mad at him when she didn’t even let him explain what happened for so many years. And then she said wants him to to talk to her and tell her things when she won’t even tell him the truth. I wanted to reach through the universe and slap her and tell her to wake up. She’s lucky he was so patient with her.

Ava is Annoying!!!

inreally liked the story. I was getting upset that she never let him buy her anything. I get they did not grow up the same, but at some point, let the man buy you something.
also, i was a bit sad that Tim only narrated the epilogue of the first book and the first chapter of the second book. I was wanting a real male voice. but otherwise, good books.

I liked it!

im so pissed at brett (spoiler alert):

for letting years, yes YEARS pass by i don't even know how many years but thats just unforgivable in my opinion. no matter how bad the lack of communication has gotten, if he really loved her and couldn't live without her like he says this could of all been resolved ! i LOVE EVAS sassyness and strong will like i said before. I'm not saying she's perfect at all but she doesn't make it easy for rhet and alot of woman should learn that as well. i read comments here saying evas annoying yet dont say anything g about rhet as if rhet with all the information he learned couldn't of reached out to her quickly afterwards, not wasting YEARS!! he should of taken the initiative since he was the one in the wrong! so yes i will be buying the physical book as well for this one and i love the GROVELING!! 💜💜💜👌🏼🥰✅

i love this couple !!💜
