Publisher's Summary

When she opens the door on one of the worst days of her life, she never expects to see him.

In the picturesque beach town of January Cove, family matters and love is always in bloom. But Kyle Parker is having none of it, focusing instead on his work and staying as far as possible from relationships.

When he finds himself on the porch of a local house he's purchased for investment, he never expects to see his high school sweetheart on the other side of the door. And when she finds out why he's there, she wants nothing more than to slam the door in his face.

Horrible

I can't even listen to this. The reader is horrible. Such a waste of money!

A teenager could have written a better book

The writing felt so amateur. The plot felt so shallow and the repetitive. The same lines/conversations were repeated throughout the book.
To make it worse, this narrator was awful. Her voices would change for a character in the middle of a sentence. The main female character sounded like a child. It was awful.
Luckily I didn't waste my money on this book because it was included in the romance package I pay for. If I did spend money on this, I'd demand a refund. I'll be staying away from this author and narrator from now on.

Good story, average narration

I liked this book very much. It is well written and enjoyable. The narrator is a good reader but her voice is too sugary sweet.
