Publisher's Summary

A werewolf walks into a bar.

Tank is working as a bouncer when he notices something odd about the sexy-as-sin bartender. He’s odorless, he’s amazingly popular with shifters, and he’s terrified.

A man without a smell.

Isaac is trying to escape his past. He hides in San Francisco, because everyone knows that there are no werewolves in the Bay Area.

Until one walks into his bar.

Can a gentle werewolf with a trampled heart show a man who’s been running scared that sometimes there are monsters worth running towards?

New York Times best-selling author Gail Carriger (writing as G. L. Carriger) brings you the next in her charming gay werewolves series. The San Andreas Shifter books stand alone and do not need to be listened in any order. But if you're a stickler, this book comes after Bryan and Max's story, The Sumage Solution

Delicate Sensibilities?

This audiobook contains m/m sexy times and horrible puns. If you get offended easily, then you probably will. San Andreas Shifter stories include blue language, dirty deeds, and outright admiration for the San Francisco Bay Area. Not for the faint of heart, or mouth, or tongue.

Wonderful

I loved this. Tank and Isaac are lovely and sweet, and it's great to see old friends. I can't wait for Judd and Colin's book, and I really hope Lovejoy and Mana get a book, too.

Beautiful

Gail Carriger is my absolute favourite contemporary author. I have read or heard every one of her books at least twice, and I always hope she will write more. She is original, insightful and amazingly imaginative. The main characters in this book are a perfect example of that. I will go so far as to compare miss Carriger to Jane Austen, in that the inner struggles of her characters are engaging, touching, amusing and believable. I have completely ignored my family for the ten hours it took to hear through this book. Please give us more!

Love love love love love

I can't even count the number of times I've read (or listened to) this book at this point and each time I do, I I think I love it more. It's just beautiful. No one writes love with joy like Gail Carriger. Please never ever stop.

Missing Something to tie it together.

I think this book was just okay but should of been much better. It had potential to be great. With the back up characters. It started with a bang and omega who couldn’t voice what he really wanted to say except when it comes to bdsm. He had a stalker for a while. Then secret agents looking for him then his old pack. One story started with the omegas quirky roommates then he just ran away. Then when he agreed to stay with the pack. To bring the pack together and make them stronger however I couldn’t tell if he had in this book. Some of the side characters found their footing and a bond was formed but too little to late. Bits and pieces thrown in on why the omega was running but nothing to explain what he was doing for the last decade, or since he was 12. How do a child survive that. Too many holes. What happened to his stalker? Do a claimed omega stop having people chase them. How do they now. It didn’t work like that when the pack was fighting. Then the narrator sounded like he was out of steam by the end. I don’t want to give more away. This story was just okay. Not as good as the last book in my opinion.

searching for a home

Who hasn't searched for a place to belong? The Omega Objection focuses on that theme and how there are different ways to get there, how we deserve to be loved for who we are and how brave kindness really is. I loved it and I thoroughly enjoyed Kirt's performance. I love the fact that this series is keeping the same performer (that is the correct term, right?)

The omega objection : The San Andreas Shifters

This was an amazing listen although the omega didn't sound like he was African -American even if he was gay not trying to nit pick just saying . Anyway on to the review this was a unique take on the shifter society with shifters having to get bitten by an Alpha to change even if they come from shifter families . And this couple was awesome although at times the insecurity of both main characters became a little too much don't get me wrong I get why both of the mains felt the way that they did it was just a lot at times . And the sex scenes where scorching hot 🔥 THE KINK WAS STRONG IN THIS ONE LOL . I thought that this story was beautifully told and I'm looking forward too Collin and Judes story .

A perfect exploration of a wolf in need trying to heal a pack who doesn’t know what they’re missing.

Issac and Tank are my favorite characters because G.L. Carriger writes with the most heart and truly breathes soul into them. I am an avid fan of G.L. Carriger because of the sweetness in her stories. This books has that but is also one of the HOTTEST romances. Issac is hands down my favorite character in anything. I have read the book 10 times and hearing Kirt Graves matched the voice I n my head perfectly.

Love Kirt

I bought this book solely because Kirt Graves was the narrator. The story is okay., and Kirt was excellent as usual.

G L Carriger hits the mark again!

Another excellent book by G L Carriger, smoothly following on from the previous book in the series. Very well read again too. A very good plot, with a mix of humour, character-building / expansion, a little intrigue and romance of course. Developing the story of the San Andraous Shifters. I'm not interested in descriptions of gay men's sex, but those parts can easily be skipped and if it's not your thing it's worth skipping to enjoy the rest of the book. Audible or another publisher should be supporting such an excellent author as G L (Gail) Carriger to make sure all her other books are recorded and available in the UK.

A pure joy

The books are well written and narrated. As a gay man it’s an amazing escape from every day life and you fall in love with each of the characters because even though their supernatural you can relate.
