I’m not religious…. but maybe I am?

The more I think about how I was led to this book, the more I believe maybe there is a God, maybe he does love me.
I was brought up in an extremely abusive household, where the ones who should have taught me kindness and protected me, were the very ones who led me to dig a hole deep down inside of myself and hide. That’s where I have lived for so long. But I created a world where I was someone new, my life was filled with joy and love and laughter and appreciation. Despite the daily abuse I endured, I remained a happy person, until 17 years old, when I thought it was never going to get better. So I tried to end my life. This was absolute rock bottom for me.
After a lot of treatment, I began to see the color of the world against the black and white memories I had created.
I was called to read (listen) to this book, thought I have never been religious or believed in god, I feel it’s time that I start exploring the miracles that have taken place in my life.
Thank you Rev Chris. I have followed you along for a while now because of your intriguing love of the Lord. And now, you’ve changed my life to it’s core.
