Publisher's summary

If the Night Stalker is watching, you're already dead.

In the dead of a swelteringly hot summer's night, Detective Erika Foster is called to a murder scene. The victim, a doctor, is found suffocated in bed. His wrists are bound and his eyes bulging through a clear plastic bag tied tight over his head.

A few days later, another victim is found dead in exactly the same circumstances. As Erika and her team start digging deeper, they discover a calculated serial killer - stalking their victims before choosing the right moment to strike.

The victims are all single men, with very private lives. Why are their pasts shrouded in secrecy? And what links them to the killer?

As a heat wave descends upon London, Erika will do everything to stop the Night Stalker before the body count rises, even if it means risking her job. But the victims might not be the only ones being watched: Erika's own life could be on the line.

New Mystery Series

Always looking for a good murder mystery and this was pretty good. questioning her abilities could get old if it continues throughout the book series. Recommended for those that like to follow a specific character through different mysteries.

one of its kind story of women in fierce pursuit

If you could sum up The Night Stalker in three words, what would they be?

go for it

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

it blew my mind, the way the author has shown personality paradox. Two women underestimated for their abilities.

Would you listen to The Night Stalker again? Why?

Not right away but I would listen to them both again. I really enjoyed the story line

Have you listened to any of Jan Cramer’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Just The Girl in the Ice and she was just as great in this one

Fast paced thriller

I enjoyed the feistiness of the female protagonist of The Night Stalker. Just enough gore to make it interesting.

Good book but It was kind of predictable.

Was a little disappointed. It was still a very good book, narration is good and I didn't want to put it down. It was a little predictable which bummed me out but I will continue to follow this series and see if the author will change it up.
