Grea5 access to great news!

NYT audio d8gest is an invaluable resource for keeping up with critical news amidst a busy daily schedule. Now more than ever it is important to be well informed and up to date with events.

very good, except when it is down.

I rely upon the New York Times audio keep me up to date on pressing news. however from time to time it isn't working and the only fix come after a complaint. notice of downtime would be far more helpful.

I always look forward to listening to the NYTimes.

every single day, when I get up in the morning, I look forward to listening to the New York Times audio-digest. This is by far the best way to find the headlines of the day.

The Perfect Accompaniment to Morning Coffee

I was on a "news fast" for a while as a tactic to battle depression, and I missed this digest more than my regular news podcasts. An efficient way to stay alert. Thank you!

audible and lit copies both are excellent..

My review is of the audible.com complementary subscription.. and not the digitized paper which you need to read for yourself.. though both are qualified by me as excellent...

For me, better than WSJ

What made the experience of listening to The New York Times Audio Digest the most enjoyable?

I'm comparing this to the WSJ morning feed: the NYTimes subscription is, in my opinion, slightly more informative than the WSJ in its presentation of the articles. It seems made for readers who tend to peruse longer articles rather than simply skim headlines (though truncated, the narration breaks off about where I would leave off anyways, since I rarely read every single article). The WSJ feels analogous to NPR's news updates, though longer, while the NYTimes is simply delivering its top article content in audio format.

Lately the podcast is not available in the morning

Today March 18, 2019, last Thursday and a few days before that, the podcast was not available in the morning as usual.

It’s very convenient to listen in the car in the way to the office. If delivered late the podcast becomes of very little use.

great paper

this is informative and definitely neither "the failing New York Times" nor "the eneny of the people."
