I remember being a happy-go-lucky and chubby little girl, whose slowly rising weight was the last thing on her mind. However, this quickly changed during my early teens. I became known as "that fat girl" in high school and my early 20s. I still have extremely painful memories from that time. No pool parties for me. No stylish clothes for me. No friends around me. 

Turning to McDonald’s for comfort, hugging my teddy bear and desiring sleep: They were my only escape from being ‘’the fat girl’’ for just a few hours. I was shattered by so many judgmental people and loved ones that my weight problem turned into a bigger issue. I was using food as solace, and it became a vicious cycle I couldn’t escape from. Little did I know that trips to McDonald’s golden arches would be the doorway to the event that changed my entire life. 

I was 250 pounds when I truly decided to start a change. One year and a half later, I was 120 pounds. My name is Melanie. I’m talking to you about my struggle with being an obese teenager; how my little girl eating habits developed into a vicious circle that I didn't get out of until I was 25, when I hit rock bottom. I will talk to you about my food abuse years, my alcohol and drug abuse moments, and my pain during the darkest part of my life. But most of all, I will talk to you about how I said good-bye to all this crap and restarted my life from the bottom.

Intermittent fasting changed my existence completely. And you can do the same, as I did. 

My goal is to get you inspired from my personal story to get start your path toward a healthier lifestyle. No matter what your weight is, how many people believe in you, or how much you are struggling, changing your life is a possibility.

Lovely

I worked my way up to fasting longer and longer periods. I am now on day three and no hunger at all. I do not feel weak and work a very busy schedule with hardly any breaks. I have not taken arthritis medications since I started this diet. If you have health problems I encourage you to get this book, it can change your life.

A holiday gift for fasters... veterans or newbies!

Easy and light enough to read in one evening, like I did, and inspiring at the same time. This book is a great beginner's guide to intermittently fasting for weight loss. And I'll tell you from my own experience, once you try intermittent fasting earnestly, you'll wonder why more people aren't doing it! I love it! Thank you!

Good explanation of Intermittent Fasting Great!

I would routinely eat a meal I didn't even want because I had heard so many times how important it was! Now I wait until I am actually hungry, usually at the usual lunchtime, and I feel so much better all morning. Read this book with an open mind, and give Intermittent Fasting a chance. You may discover, as I did, that you feel much better with less food! I also make better choices, because when I am truly hungry anything tastes good! A good book for me! I like it! Well done!

This Intermittent Fasting Book can Change

It has changed our eating habits for the better as well as our cholesterol and blood pressure and glucose levels! That kind of says it all. BTW, we are senior citizens....if we benefited from this book, you can, too! Intermittent Fasting is awesome! Love that book! Great

Down to Earth Guide to Intermittent Fasting

Although I had listen about the health benefits of fasting, I could not envision how to actually commit to such a plan. This book is a perfect guide and one that I plan to use.

Highly recommend this book!

Fasting is an extremely powerful method of weight loss, and surprisingly easy. I have always been one of those that can't go without food so I was expecting this to be much harder. I'm on day five of intermittent fasting and I'm not hungry at all (and never was during the fast either), I have no cravings and I've felt great the whole time. Everything tastes awesome now too (even though I'm eating very clean and what used to be "boring" low carb food), and my focus and energy has really increased.

Amazing book!

Wonderful book, well written, funny, easy to read and will change your life if you choose to switch to this lifestyle. There are tens of thousands on people in the group who post daily INCREDIBLE before and after pictures which, in my opinion, are every bit as helpful as the book itself. great

This book will help you learn and understand more about Intermittent Fasting.This book has a ton of information into the history and science of fasting.The author gives us the seven most popular methods of Intermittent Fasting and explains how to use it to get better results from exercise. BEST THING EVER!!!

I got SOOO tired on the radio...same thing over and over again. Then I found this app. It is now the only thing I listen to unless someone else is in the car too! On the days I take the kids with me to work I go bonkers because I'm missing my "me time" lol. Driving and listening to this is my only me time lol.

Exceptional voice, easy to follow, great story

Narrator was calming, easy to listen to and convincing. I enjoyed all of the steps and was able to follow sub conciously while my body was doing what she said would do. i felt like i was weightless

Worked for me...

Great selection of individual sessions which made a real overall difference. Just listen to the session you want to work on the most. Great voice, great stories that take you down into the hypnotic stage, really engaging.

Excellent book on I.F. Kayla gives great strategies on weight loss and keep it off. I have already recommended her book several times Her use of checklist at the end of each chapter was very helpful. Learned a lot and gained a different perspective on I.F
