Bad narration

Narrators emphasis was distracting. Decent story but couldn’t get past the pacing and odd emphasis on certain words was off setting.

History and romance!

I loved everything about this book. All the history and romance is so well put together. I highly recommend it!

Interesting subject

It was an interesting story line but it definitely could have been condensed. Maybe this would have been a better book to read than to listen too?

Copper’s best one yet

Fantastic story. Gripping. Her best work yet! It follows the same past-present-past format as her other books but the storyline is very engaging.

Really enjoyed this book! Intersecting plots with historical roots. Learned a lot! Audible version was excellent.
