Publisher's Summary

He Took Her By Surprise...

When a naked earl climbs through the window into her bedchamber, Lady Elizabeth Runyon does the proper thing: She screams. Loudly. And then...well, Lizzie has had enough of being proper. She wishes to be bold. Wanton, even. She won't be commanded to put on her nightgown. Just this once, she will be absolutely daring...

She Returned The Favor

Robert Hamilton, Earl of Westbrooke, has no intention of being tricked into marriage by a detestable female, and if he has to flee naked across a rooftop, he will. Jolly good there's an open window waiting - as well as an undressed, slightly drunk, and alluringly beautiful Lady Elizabeth. Oh dear. If they are caught together, he might have to marry her. The idea is delicious...and the temptation is irresistible...

Good book.. So-so narration..

Any additional comments?

The ending did seem rushed but over all it was a good read but not as good as The Naked Duke or The Naked Marquis but I still enjoyed it. I loved Robbie in the other two books and still loved him in his own book, too. I liked Lizzie a lot as well as Aunt Bea and Alton. And as to the reviewer who named the "top 10" (on Amazon) there was not one thing discriptive about Bea and Alton having sex, I'm 65 so I know how ugly that might have been, if it had been too descriptive, nothing I would have gone "eww" over. And the anal sex was mentioned in one thought by Felicity, not done. Just to clear that up. Anyway, I'm off to the next book in the series.

As to the narrator: She was really only ok. Sometimes the men sounded manly and sometimes they didn't. She was not consistant at all. I wouldn't throw rocks at her but I wouldn't go out of my way to listen to her again either.

The Naked Earl

Sally Mackenzie is not everyone’s cup of tea. But I like her books a lot. They are funny at times. I love Lady Beatrice and the H and h in this book. If you listen you’ll have fun. The is also a story between the humorous moments.
The narration by Terry Donnelly is average. Not bad but not great. The voices aren’t always distinctive but I never had trouble following who was speaking. Other than that flaw, the narration is good.

ok story, too much whining

The characters whined too much and the temper tantrums. The way the narrator portrayed them put me on edge. I became irritated from the constant whining. The naïve ways of the characters were frustrating and eye rolling. I made myself finish this book as I wanted to know how it would end but many times, through the sex parts, I had to skip through. I enjoyed the first book and thought this one would be just as good. It was very disappointing.

Cute story

Kind of wordy. Could have been edited down a bit but an enjoyable read. Part of a series, will look for others.

kept waiting for real adults

I enjoy series but am weary of this one having so called heroes as virgins, impotent, lack of self confidence, and the so called heroines seeing a bulge as as injury and want to comfort. The virginal women are so naive I would think they are 12 and it was uncomfortable hearing their childlike innocence.
