This volume focuses on the stigmatic Padre Pio of Pietrelcina and the author's personal interviews with Padre Pio's friends and companions for the last three years of his life. The interviews were conducted in San Giovanni Rotondo, Foggia, Italy, where Padre Pio lived the last several decades of his life.
