Publisher's Summary

In the Roaring Twenties....

A Hello Girl during WWI, widowed Ariel Pennybaker served her country proudly. She now carries on her late husband's legacy...a home for the many returning injured soldiers.

With her year of mourning nearly at an end, she's had enough of her self-imposed celibacy. It's time to get back in the game.

A chance meeting with a handsome WWI aviator fills her imagination with thoroughly naughty thoughts. When a second man walks into her life, her naughty thoughts turn downright decadent. What better way to fulfill her fantasies than by sharing both men's beds.

As tempting as the idea is, Ariel has a huge secret, one she must protect at all costs. And it's possible one or both of her lovers is not what he seems.

Original plot...

I really liked this book. The plot and story-line is original and refreshing. At first, I didn't quite know where it was heading to. Then I realized and thought wow, the author did a really good job.

The setting takes place back at war time (WWI) and while in our time now, the behavior is no big deal for a woman, it was a HUGE deal way back then (risque). I learned quite a bit too as I never thought about the government using women as spies.

The author, Nancy Fraser did a good job on this story and I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. The narrator, Nina Price takes a little getting used to. Sometimes some of the emotions feel forced, but all in all - good job! Well done!
