When Sam, Jackie and Anna successfully campaign to save their children's school lollipop lady, they are asked by a TV reporter if they fancy standing in the general election. It is, of course, a crazy idea: Sam's youngest son has an incurable disease, Jackie is desperate for another child and her mum is struggling with Alzheimers, Anna's teenagers - and marriage - are in danger of going off the rails. But sometimes the craziest ideas turn out to be the best. And just think what they could do if they got to run the country...

Any additional comments?

This was my 3rd Linda Green book and I did find it a bit disappointing. I got a bit bored and almost gave up on it. The last 2 hours of the book were really good and I am glad that I stuck with it.

The plotline of this book is extremely insulting. I typically love books narrated by Suzy Aitchison and Linda Green's books are pretty good but this one is just ridiculously patronizing towards stay-at-home moms. I don't like books that demean women. It's especially loathsome when it's done by another woman. Isn't it time that we support each other and stop making judgments? I couldn't even finish this book...ick. Give it a miss. Much better and more fun books out there.

Don't waste your time.
