Unputdownable Book

WOW how amazing is The Mother by T M Logan. I could not put this exciting book down.

Heather is a Mother to two sons, Theo and Finn and wife to Liam who works for Parliament. The book starts in 2023 then goes back ten years to 2013.

Heather is literally bringing Theo and Finn up single handedly due to Liam's work commitments and Heather is at the end of her tether.

One late evening when Liam finally returns home Heather overhears a telephone conversation between Liam and a woman and catches a sentence "You will have to tell her." This makes Heather suspicious and an argument erupts which ends up with Liam sleeping downstairs on the couch.

Unbeknown to Heather who has stomped upstairs to bed that this would be the last time she would see Liam alive. Heather has taken sleeping pills in order to sleep and wakes up with her two little boys to find Liam dead and she is charged with his murder.

After serving a ten-year sentence, Heather has been released and is on a mission to clear her name and to get her two young sons, Theo and Finn back.

At every point of trying to find who has framed her for the murder of Liam, Heather faces peril every step she takes in her quest for the truth.

Simply Sublime

Holding the reader/listener's attention from the first page up until the last page is a rare commodity in the annuls of fiction. Logan's novel realises this feat easily and elegantly. This is my first T M Logan novel and will definitely not be my last. The clincher- in Gemma Whelan Logan has found a spoken word that is as prodigious as his pen. Whelan's voice captures with a casual effortlessness every intricate nuance of the richly layered characters born from T. M. Logan's creative imagination.
