Great story

great story and the narrator was very good with telling it; you will not be disappointed with this book.

Like a more detailed slasher flick!

This was fun! I appreciated getting an audible code and my commute was richer for it.


This is a darker, grittier version of the slasher teen flicks I loved in highschool.
Lauren is set up well and was happy to see her try to get her revenge, but was also invested in the other characters too.

Strong LGBT rep.

Recommended if you loved I know what you did last summer or urban legend and would like more grown up versions with better details.


Narrator gets a 4. He did fine mostly. But you could tell the edits by a hollow echo that was ultimately distracting. Overall audio quality was decent and the acting was good!

Amazing!

Love the story and love the voice actor! I can't get over the fact that Mary Cook was able to surprise me! I would have never guessed the way any of this story unraveled... amazing. I wish I lost my memory every day so I could experience listening to this for the first time over and over again.

This will keep you on the edge of your seat.

This book will make you cry. It tells both sides if the story. Its so real they should make it a movie.

A revenge story with a twist.

Admittedly this book isn't in my normal wheelhouse. Having said that, I really liked this one. Listened to it all in one evening, because it kept me hanging on every word. Trigger warning.. There is a rape scene, so those sensitive, or triggered to that in any way, may want to advance 30 seconds or so past that part in the beginning. As I said in the title, it's a revenge story with a paranormal twist that had me hooked. Narrator did good job as well. Will definitely be looking for more from this author.

Just wow...

When this book first started I was like 'Oh, this is going to be interesting", but the second the book took its first turn I realized it was far more then just interesting. It was fantastic. I was quickly hooked. I cant wait to see what this author comes out with next!
