A gorgeous addition places Playful Paws and its staff at the center of a mystery.

It’s love at first sight when Tamar meets Rusty, the newest resident at the local shelter where she volunteers. However, the arrival of the well-trained and affectionate dog coincides with the onset of suspicious and dangerous incidents involving the shelter and its staff. Is it a coincidence, or is the dog the key to solving a major crime? In this latest addition to the Hannah and Tamar mystery series, the sisters are determined to find out.

Great book for teens or middle school kids. Hannah & Tamara are sisters who are in high school, and who have a penchant for getting involved in mysteries … and now – murder! Could this dog somehow be tied to cases that her parents (both lawyers) are involved with? This was an engaging story, very relatable by teens, and nicely narrated. I received a free copy of the audiobook, with no obligation.

I enjoyed this cozy mystery featuring the sisters, Hannah and Tamar. Tamar volunteered at an animal shelter and after a lost dog was left there, dangerous things started happening around the place. Hannah and Tamar are pulled into the investigation. The mystery was convoluted and had some surprising twists. The characters were charming. I recommend this book to others who enjoy this genre. Julie McCarthy's narration was fine and worked well with the content. I was given a free copy of the audiobook and I have voluntarily posted this review.

I just love being able to listen to a book if my Grandchildren are in the car. Thank you for a clean mystery.

The only problem I had with performance is one time towards the beginning of the book, Julie sound a little mechanical. Other than that Julie did a great Job.

Good Book for teens and up!!

This was a bit sad and I empathized with the victim and dog. The greed and heartlessness of the villain upset me. I enjoyed following along to a satisfying conclusion. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a good job bringing it to life.

What a fantastic story for teens and adults. This was our third audiobook from the authors and narrator and just like the other two, my daughters and I really had a blast listening to this book! Hoping for many more to come :-)
