The Blood Still Flows

Would you consider the audio edition of The Miracle of the Scarlet Thread Expanded Edition to be better than the print version?

I can't make a comparison since I didn't even read the first chapter of the print version while in ministry training. The audio edition was very convenient because I could walk around the house with my headphones on and keep listening.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Miracle of the Scarlet Thread Expanded Edition?

There were many memorable moments; among them was the biblical context of the salt covenant, the significance of "breaking bread" with a covenant partner, and how Jesus is portrayed in each chapter of the Bible. I am definitely going to take a closer look at DaVinci's painting of the last supper.

What about William Crockett’s performance did you like?

Making the stories come alive with inflections in the right places and keeping the reader awake.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

There were many "wow" moments as explained in the "memorable" moments above.

Any additional comments?

I'm going to listen to it again to gain more insight into the history and culture of biblical times.

Everyone will benefit from this book if they read it

This book is great for anyone, no matter what level of understanding you already have of the Bible, even if you have no clue of what is written in the Bible. You gain a clearer understanding of the meanings and significances of events/stories that are told all throughout in the Bible. Events/stories that cause many to leave church or Sunday school wondering or questioning the importance of them, and how or if they're even relative to me and to this day-in-time. You see the undeniable correlation and symbolism that solidifies events as the interactive relationship between God and man.

Truly enlightening and informative research

I believe my prayers are answered throughout the literary insight and light of truth. Must read!

Wonderful Book but Narrator not so much

The book itself I would highly recommend. Enriching and eye opening. There is almost no emotion in the narrtors voice however. Just flat tone, pauses in strange places. slow cadance. Made it impossible to lidten to so I bought myself a hard copy of the book

great book compact with life changing truths

This book is filled with history and biblical truths that cause the heart to take a second look at the wonderful Covenant that God the Father has given us in His Son Jeaus Christ.

I had the first edition but this edition is my favorite. I listened to it 2 times I will buy the book to have in my physical collection

What a blessing! Thank you Dr. Richard , for your testimonies, your insights, your deep research regarding cultural differences and beliefs throughout the centuries . Most of all my husband and I are grateful and thank Father God for His mercy and grace and our Lord Jesus Christ , The Sacrificial Lamb of God ,our Lord and Savior for shedding His precious Blood for us. and the gifts and revelation knowledge in the scriptures by The Holy Spirit our Teacher and Guide.
You have faithfully been in your calling, Dr. Booker. Your books have proven that. You were not given your name by chance. No such thing. (smile). You are a role model, I truly believe ,by the grace of God. Your teachings lined up with so many deep revelation understanding given to me by the Holy Spirit the more I studied the Word personally through these last 40 years. It is so humbling to receive them to share with others ,as you know. You share to thousands! Thank you for what I’m learning from your serving and obeying Yahweh.

Really unhappy with narrator

Wow! Great book, a lot of good information but it took me FOREVER to get through it because the narrator (William Crockett) was horrid in his narration. Pausing in wrong places, not good with inflection. He spoke clearly but it was so boring to get through it. I listen to many audiobooks and have never felt this way about a narrator. I will never listen to a book if he narrates...sorry, just hard to get through.

Reader ruined this book for me

I recommend Miracle to a lot of folks. Read the hard copy and loved it. The way this reader butchered the sentence emphasis constantly was more than I could take. I am sure there is a reason, but in English, sentence structure, emphasis and inflection matter. Will not recommend this book on Audible.
