Publisher's Summary

What would you do or create if you had all of the time, energy, and focus you needed?

You are responsible for the amount of value the things in your life provide you, and there is an unexplainable feeling of freedom in letting go of things that weigh you down.

If you want to add meaningful experiences to your life like taking exotic vacations, learning a new language, starting a new hobby, or saving more money, you will need to eliminate the distractions in your life that are keeping you from accomplishing your goals and your passions.

These distractions are often there for a reason and can take some serious effort to eliminate. When do you finally decide to make those dreams your reality? Do you work less? Spend less time with your family and friends? Do you eat less? Sleep less? Likely not.

Minimalism is simply removing anything that does not align with your goals and passions. The Minimalist Mentality will teach you how you can actually accomplish more with the fundamental principle of minimalism: less.

Minimalist author Steve H. Willis leads you through every area of your life and provides realistic strategies you can implement to remove anything from your life that distracts you from doing what matters most, like how to:

  • Recognize and remove the chaos in your life and focus only on pursuing your goals and passions
  • Get more done every day by shifting your focus to one job at a time
  • Use minimalist strategies at home, work, with your finances, and in your relationships to develop a lifestyle of freedom
  • Truly enjoy spending time with family and friends without feeling the need to obsessively document every step along the way
  • Use time-blocking techniques to massively increase your productivity and accomplish more each day

Stop wasting your days away exhausting yourself for somebody else’s dream. Join the thousands of others who have reclaimed their freedom with The Minimalist Mentality and are finally pursuing their passions and accomplishing their goals on their own.

The Minimalist Mindset

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It has a lot of good advice on how to reduce your spending and cut back on things. It's a great book on how to declutter your life and stuff. The narrator did a great job.

I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher.

Excellent Advice For Minimizing Your Life

The Minimalist Mindset was a great listen. There were many, many tips and suggestions of ways to cut down, cut back and reduce your living, whether it be at the office or at home. One of my favorite things in the book was 'donation Sunday' or purging items no longer needed. For every one thing you purchase, get rid of two things.

Amazing Book

The authors know what they are talking about. There are tons of practical tips that are doable and relevant for today's' families. While it is a book about families, it can just as easily apply to someone single or a a couple. The tips on doing this with kids though is very helpful. highly recommend if you're looking for help to declutter and simplify.

Recommend

The beautiful writing isn’t preachy; it’s compassionate, respectful, and understanding, and the authors’ desire to protect the environment shines through at every step. This book will help you in understanding what minimalism mean and the ways in which it can affect your life. A very informative book that I personally feel, that after reading this one on the subject, you don't need any other book. Well worth the money. Recommend

I love owning less.

I have been completely worn out and needed a new perspective for living my life differently. This book spoke to my soul. It’s great. And I’ll never go back to my previous lifestyle. But along the way, I discovered something even better than owning less - wanting less. I love owning less.

I definitely got done good advice from this book

I definitely got done good advice from this book, and I’ve been researching a simpler more streamline lifestyle for my young family for a while and i love this book because it is full of things you can actually do rather than being a book of abstract philosophy and it has helped me focus on what is really important for me to do and eliminate time spent dealing with things I don't actually need in my life and this book has helped me achieve more freedom from the chains of a cluttered sometimes chaotic life

More than just purging

Unlike most books on minimalism that just encourage you to get rid of everything in your life (which I am not interested in doing…) this book actually provides some deeper insight into why it is important to simplify your life and that there are ways to do it that do not require you to get rid of everything you own.
