loved it!

I didn't think I would like this as much as the first for some reason, but it was great. I think even if someone hadn't read/listened to the first book, it would hold it's own as a stand alone book. The narration was excellent and engaging.

Enjoyed

It was hard for me to get into this book. But once I did, I thoroughly enjoyed the story and could not wait to read the last one.

Actually excited to see what comes next

I loved The Walking Land, when I jumped into The Memory of Fire I was excited for a new adventure. At first I was a little disappointed about Jahan and how much a cry baby he seems. I found it dragging at first however about 3 hours in I found myself understanding Jahan and wanting to know what happens next. I’m happy to say the story does have a great turning point and a wonderful conclusion with it being wide open for a third book. I’m excited to see what happens next. Great book, a must have after The Waking Land!

Sounds like Zoolander

I bought this book because I couldn’t bring myself to read the print edition, though I wanted to continue the series. The voice actor sounds exactly like Zoolander, and it was so distracting that I haven’t been able to finish listening. I couldn’t tell you half of what has happened in this story for this reason. Might just be me, but once you hear it, you can’t un-hear it.
