A wonderful sweet adventure

I liked the world building and the strong female character it was a wonderful sweet love story. I had some good laughs and fell in love along with them. Looking forward to more from this author it was not my usual level of spice but I enjoyed the story. When the story is well done I’m along for the ride into the adventure.

What a refreshing new series!

What a refreshing new series! If you like science fiction romance - heavy on the slow burn then this is the book for you. Earth is ruled by aliens and (as usual) there aren't many options for women, enter Delle and Caide. Due to circumstances each are looking for a way out of bad situations and a marriage of convenience is born.
These two had chemistry off the charts and it was a treat to see them grow closer. I read a lot of scifi and appreciated the time taken to develop their relationship and set up the world.
I am really looking forward to the next book in the series.

l was totally taken in with this busy young girls life while struggling to achieve her one goal in life. Her demeanor and attitude was to be admired and l was appalled at the aliens way of meting out the females. Her protector and possible future mate was a lovely person and l enjoyed his protective ways. Well written and nicely narrated. Recommended.

More than she bargained for!!!

Caide and Delle's story is slow burn and very very sweet. I really liked these 2 characters and the storyline. The audio narration was very well done and enjoyable to listen to. A great series starter and I'm looking forward to more!

My Overlord husband

A unique story line, at least one I have not read before. This will be an interesting series. I am eager for the next book, to see what happens as the story continues to evolve.
Earth has been taken over by aliens. Our wars have killed off a large portion of our men and left us struggling. Overlords (aliens) are now in control. Women are oppressed, and really only seen as breeders. Here, Caide, an overlord, proposed a bargain to marry Delle, to keep her from becoming a breeder. As fate would have it, they have great chemistry and fall in love. If you’re looking for erotic scenes, this is not it.
Good story line, which flows naturally. Good character development. Narration (audio version) is good.
