Publisher's Summary

For years, Milo Talon had been riding the outlaw trail, looking for a man who had betrayed his family. Only Hank Rossiter wasn’t the man he had been. Old now and blind, Rossiter was trying desperately to hold on to a small ranch to support his daughter, Barbara. Suddenly Talon found himself in the middle of a range war, siding with the man he’d marked for payback. But had Rossiter really changed? And could his daughter be trusted by either of them?

For Milo, getting to the truth meant a long hard fight to separate his enemies from his friends - and forgiveness from revenge.

Love L'Amout

I love L'Amour. I grew reading him because of my grandfather. When I pick up his books it's like my granddaddy is in the house with me.

Twists, turns, and classic Lamour adventure!

Milo Talon is one of his better protagonists, and the mystery in this story rivals the best Lamour offers

Great book and narrator was very good

This is now one of my favorite books. Andrew Macleod did an awesome job reading this book. Would love to see him do more of Louis L’Amour stories.

Learning

All of his stories are jam packed with truth drawn from his own life experience and the many letters and journals he collected over his adventurous life time.

First rate story and well read. I had to use my pc to read as my Fire 8 kept locking up. O would rate it one of the best.

Engaging story, superbly acted

the voice actor did such a splendid job of portraying each of the different characters, it felt more like I was watching a movie than hearing a book.

Engaging thru & thru

I’m new to the Louis L’Amour universe and started with the Hopalong Cassidy books that L’Amour initially denied writing. I was instantly hooked and this comes from someone who has mostly read sci-fi and non-fiction for the last couple years. Robert Petkoff masterfully narrated the Cassidy books but I really have to hand it to MacLeod Andrews. Outstanding narration that really brought the book to life. I haven’t checked, but hopefully he’s narrated some L’Amour classics.

One of my favourite.

Louis did a fantastic job writing those Talon stories. If it would have written more of them, i really think it would have surpassed the Sacketts. one of my favourite!
