Exceptional
The story is pure gold. The characters are wonderful. And the slightly unconventional narrative structure is interesting and intriguing without being off putting. If you’re ever liked a movie, you’ll probably enjoy this book.
All the voice actors are great, but Mr. Hanks is Oscar-worthy. If Oscars were for audio books. Which they aren’t.

A slow going listen
Just too long and laborious even when listening to Tom Hanks. It didn’t engage or keep me interested and the chapters were in dire need of editing. Not at all what I was expecting. Such a disappointing book.
