Great story that held me.

Where does The Lost Library rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This book would rate very highly in my list and I would recomend as a good read.

Have you listened to any of Lewis Hancock’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

World wide twists and turns

Any additional comments?

The plot is interesting and very well planned. The quest the lead character is lead on is difficult and long. The female lead was a breath of fresh air and while she seems to be an everyday neighbour type, the longer the book goes the more intelligent and remarkable she becomes. That said, I do not understand Emily being chosen as the new Keeper as she has no loyalty or affection with the Library. She gladly tells all what she knows as opposed to Arno, Athanasius or the other members of the society. It is this lack of respect or loyalty to the Library that make Emily a strange choice.

A story with such potential but didn't fulfill

The idea was brilliant but it failed to have any depth. Such a shame as I kept hoping it pick up.
