As Seeing Red ended, King Arch had been successful in sapping Wonderland—including Alyss and Redd—of Imagination. Now the two enemy queens are forced to come together in an attempt to reclaim Wonderland and their imaginative powers.

Hatt M is AWOL as he escorts his daughter, Molly, to our world, leaving her in the care of Charles Dodgson (aka Lewis Carroll). It appears that the caterpillar oracles are in cahoots with Arch, but they are really manipulating him to save the Heart Crystal, also known as “Everqueen”—the source of imaginative power. How far will Alyss regain her power?

It was a good end to the series. But I feel like I should repeat my 2 thoughts. I wish it would have been narrated by a woman. And the sound effects the writer put in that the narrator had to make was really cheesy. Other than that, it was good!

Satisfying End to the Series

The Looking Glass Wars was recommended to me by a lady working in a book store. Once I started listening to it I couldnt stop! I was sitting on the edge of my seat! The imagery and detail is amazing, but its not so overwhelming that it bogs down the story. Its an amazing story I am sure I will read/listen to again and again! Especially since I have already read it twice now!

Love this book!

I have thoroughly enjoyed this trilogy from Frank Beddor. Action-packed drama centered around a set of characters many of us know - now given to us in a completely different light. I encourage my sci-fi readers to pick up this trilogy as a must have. That being said, the best way to read this story is to listen to Gerard Doyle perform it - narrate is too passive a term. The character voices bring visuals of each person, even the women :). However, the sound effects put it over the top. Who knew a simple *POW* could bring such an image to mind as his do. I look forward to finding more books narrated by Doyle and know I will enjoy them just as much.

So sad to see you go...

This book didn't pull me in as much as the others did,
it seemed like it was just wrapping up the story.

Not as good as the 1st 2

Where does The Looking Glass Wars: ArchEnemy rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Looking glass wars have been my favorite audio books, the narration and voices are amazing.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Hatter M is definitely my favorite character. He's very "badass".

What about Gerard Doyle’s performance did you like?

His ability to do all the different voices, you knew exactly which character was talking based on the different accents and voices.

Any additional comments?
