Roark Hawthorne had it all. He was a tenured professor in the English department at Weatherby College. The school itself was named after the family that built it, the richest family in town - Colin and Selene Weatherby and their daughter Jennifer.
Roark and Jennifer had a hot and cold affection for each other, and when they were old enough and foolish enough, they eloped 4 days before her marriage to another man.
Real life began, and the idyll within Weatherby castle caused a rift between Roark and Jennifer. She was spoiled, arrogant, and mysterious at times and then one evening after Roark’s book tour ended, she disappeared.

loved it
I loved this book. Mark Reece Healey really bring this story to life and keeps you on the edge of your seat. Roark Hawthorne is a professor in the English department at Weatherby College. He gets home from his book tour and see his wife Jennifer. During the night she disappears. This is only the beginning of the nightmare for Roark. His wife had secrets that may cost him everything.
