A thrill with many twists

Love how each character was so detailed and the thriller went on so well. Tribute to some real life
Occurrences of the late 1970s and 1980s.

Highly recommend - amazing narrators! Each narrator was fantastic. Looking for more books from the same author and narrator.

Coming of Age During a Dark Time

It was a sweetly sad coming of age story during the scary time of Jack the Ripper. Highlights the highs and lows of friendships, loss and how everyone deals with grief and trauma uniquely.

Great Narration

What a fabulous debut novel! The mystery was real, but the emotions of characters is what I liked most. I will definitely read Godfrey’s next novel.

Superb narration for a memorable and special story

This is such a special book, it completely wowed me. It follows Miv, a preteen as she sets out to uncover the Yorkshire Ripper. She tracks all things suspicious in her notebook and proceeds to cross suspects off her list.

I was completely immersed in the story. The narration is largely Miv's voice reflecting on this period on her life, and the narration reminded me of A Christmas Story (a very good thing in my book.)

This is a coming of age story more than a mystery which worked incredibly well. It's about community and the sense of taking care of the greater good. There are many endearing characters, and I won't soon forget this one!
