I cried.......I laughed!!
What a lovely story about life. If you've lost someone recently (or ever), you might have a hard time getting through the first chapter. I almost gave up, but I'm glad a came back to it and finished the whole book.
Nick and Eric are the best of friends, with all the feels of being 10 years old and then their mid-30s rollercoaster of life. Amanda Prowse is a marvelous writer, taking you along for the ride with ease. Having her reading for the audiobook is a bonus!! I will be looking at the rest of her books. Can't wait!

Warm story of love and loss
I loved the way this story was built, Every other chapter revealed the past's contrast to the present. It illustrated how what we experience as children build us into the adults we become. Beautifully written and , as always, a delight to listen to the Author narrate her own work. Every time I listen to Amanda Prowse 's story I smile at the end and feel lucky to have heard it .

What a beautiful, touching story, definitely a tissue box next to you while reading. I love Amanda way of writing and how her stories unfold. Real life tragedies. Looking forward to my next read/listen. The narration is excellent.

Another great book
I haven't read anything bad by this author. Great storyline. I always think they are going to be sad as something tragic happens however, she always turns the story around to make it heart warming.
