Amazing book detailing a talented and confused man. old Hollywood explained in great detail. highly recommended if you have ever watch an Andy Hardy film.

Mickey Rooney comes alive in this book!

This was my first audible book!! I felt I was following around the great Mickey Rooney!! Always loved his acting! There is nobody alive today that can hold a candle to the raw & natural talent of that of Mickey!!!

Highly recommend to anyone interested in seeing Hollywoods early days through the eyes of this man as a youth and adult.

Great book, sad story

the author did an amazing job researching and telling the story in an objective and honest way. it was respectful to Rooney, who was apparently not a quality person who really had a sad life. the performer was excellent reading the sad story.
